Unlike rival UV lamps or other ionizer technologies, iWave-C is a self-cleaning, bi-polar ionization generator for actively addressing a building's air quality. It doesn't need new parts after a year or two. The iWave-C also generates and sustains unmatched ionization output and capabilities. Positive and negative ions are released by the iWave-C when air passes by it, forming a plamsa zone that actively filters the supply air while eradicating mold, germs, and viruses in the coil and living area. Without generating ozone or any other dangerous consequences, the ionization process also decreases allergies, smoke, static electricity, scents (cooking, pet, VOCs), and other particles (no more sunbeams) in the air.
The original iWave-C, while excellent for domestic applications, is specifically made for light commercial systems up to 12 tons (4800 CFM) and requires no maintenance or replacement parts. Depending on the need, iWave-C may be simply duct placed indoors or outside. With a production rate of over 200 million ions/cc, iWave-C consistently operates at peak efficiency, outperforming competing market strategies. Programmable self-cleaning cycles, watertight enclosure, digital displays (for on-site visual monitoring), and incorporated alarm contacts are among the special features (for remote monitoring). On the iWave-C model, the ion emitters may be changed if they are damaged or wear out (after years of use).

Cleaning Cycle: The iWave-C has a built-in cleaning cycle that is programmed to clean the brushes every five days. Pushing the cleaning cycle test button on the front panel will start a cleaning cycle at any moment. The display will change to "CLEA" while the cleaning cycle is active. When the display says "CLEA," hold the cleaning cycle button in place for 5 seconds. Then, push it until the number of days you wish it to wait between cycles appears: 1, 5, 10, or 20. Most applications can stay on the factory-set 5 day cleaning cycle without needing to be reprogrammed.
