Control switch for the C90b, C90a, and C90. This switch provides 120 volts to the power supply and to one of the fan speeds. The switches four buttons are not included.
The chart below shows the continuity between terminals when the buttons are pressed. This switch provides 120v power to both the fan and the high voltage power supply. The 120v power enters the switch at terminal #3 and is routed to terminals for the fan and power supply. The power supply obtains 120v power from terminal #5 and the switch always routes power to this terminal except when in the Off position. The fan obtains power from terminal #6, #7, or #8 depending on the speed. With the switch on Low, 120v fan power is provided at terminal #8. With the switch on Medium speed the 120v is routed to terminal #7. With the switch on High speed 120v is routed to terminal #6.
With the number 1 button pressed, no continuity exists and the C90 is off. With the number 2 button pressed, 120v is routed to the power supply and to the motor's Low speed wire (black wire at motor). With the number 3 button pressed, 120v is routed to the power supply and to the motor's Med speed wire (purple wire at motor). With the number 4 button pressed, 120v is routed to the power supply and to the motor's Hi speed wire (red wire at motor).
