TRIO-16 Whole House Air Purification System 16X25 120V MERV 13

The TRIO-16 is a 3-in-1 Electronic Air Purification System designed to enhance indoor air quality. Unlike many electronic and media air cleaners that merely capture particles, the TRIO electronic air purifier goes beyond particle removal. It not only filters out airborne particles but also actively reduces viruses, germs, and toxic gases.

Three Stage Process

1. Advanced Filtration: As air enters the TRIO-16, it encounters a Nano-Carbon MERV 13 media air filter cartridge. This pleated 4-inch filter captures particles as minuscule as 0.3 microns including mold, bacteria, dust, dander, and pollen.

2. UV-C Light Treatment: After the filter does its particle-catching, the air meets the UV-C light—two powerful 25 watt, 22" UVC germicidal lamps. UV-C light neutralizes and destroys airborne microbes such as bacteria, viruses, mold, and fungi.

3. PRO-Cell™ Technology: The final phase uses Photo-Reactive Oxidation process. When aluminum honeycomb cells are exposed to the UVC germicidal light, its surface area transforms the odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into harmless, odorless water vapor and carbon dioxide.  The PRO-Cell core is maintenance-free and never needs replacing.

Operation

• Installation: The system is installed on the air-inlet side of any heating and air conditioning system.
• Operation: It requires only the operation of the air-handler fan unit to perform air purification and sterilization.
• UVC Germicidal Lamps: These lamps operate continuously, allowing the catalyst to burn off surface impurities even during periods of non-use or no airflow.
• Usage Recommendation:
  • For optimal performance, the system should operate for a minimum of 20-30 minutes per hour (24 hours per day).
  • Consider running the heating and cooling system fan constantly for best results.
• The TRIO-16HHS include the Healthy Home System Control Plus (HHSC+). Allows for fan management run time programming, change lter, and change lamp notication indicators to guarantee maximum performance.
