ClearPlus PP-2-10 anti-scale inline water filter with push-in fittings for 1/4" tubing. Reduces hard water mineral scale designed for furnace humidifiers. Installed in the water line that supplies water directly to the humidifier. Replaced every heating season or as reduced water flow is noticed.

Capacity: 1250 gallons or 6-9 months.
Maximum flow rate/ Pressure: 0.5 Gpm/90 PSI.
Operating Temperature range: 35-100F or 2-38C.

This filter employs the scale inhibiting properties of polyphosphate to create a low-maintenance furnace humidifier by reducing mineral scale caused by hard water. This filter will enhance the efficiency and cleanliness of all home furnace humidification systems by coating hard water minerals so they cannot interact with each other to form hard scales and stick to humidifier parts, thereby making them easier to clean. The filter installs in just a few minutes, does not require any maintenance under normal use, and will generally last an entire humidification season (6-9 months) depending on the level of contaminants in your source water. For optional performance. If you are using a drum style humidifier, we recommend that you drain the reservoir every week or two to purge the reservoir of the sequestered minerals.
