• Ceramic block type B 1-1/4 inch , 1/2" thick on one side, 5/8" thick (where the ceramic notch is slightly higher than the base)
• Wire Leads: 19 inches long
• Included are two porcelain wire nuts.

In heating systems, the Robertshaw Carbide Series Hot Surface Ignitors provide dependable ignition. Furnaces, boilers, rooftop heaters, infrared burners, unit heaters, and water heaters are among the uses. They can also be employed in a variety of different HVAC systems.

• High-purity recrystallized silicon carbide (CrystarTM) provides physical and thermal robustness as well as reliable electrical characteristics.
• Within 17 seconds, the temperature(s) of ignition will be reached.
• For optimal gripping strength and electrical conductivity, use 18-gauge nickel chrome lead wires that have been imbedded and metalized.
• Electrical protection is provided by lead wires wrapped in a specific high-temperature fiberglass insulation.
• Use a 120-volt AC power supply. The voltage to the ignitor is stepped down to 120-Volt AC in certain modules that are rated for 208-Volt/240-Volt input.
