Transformer assembly converts the SST to operate on 240 vac power. The transformer is mounted on a cover plate for the SST junction box. Installation only requires swapping the original SST cover plate with this transformer assembly.
The transformer is simply a Step-down, where 240v enters the transformer and 120v exits. The 120v then feeds the 120v power box.
Cover plate measures 5-1/8 x 4-7/8 inch. Transformer stands 2¼" high. Fits SST models manufactured after 2002. Check the dimensions of your cover plate for compatibility.
