Early Power Box LED & HV Resistor
Very early power boxes had a neon lamp that would need to be converted to the LED indicator. The neon lamp fits in a ½" dia hole and the LED fits in a ¼" hole. A plastic bushing is included to adapt the LED for the ½" hole. The old neon wires are discarded and the LED connects directly to the power supply.
Also note the high voltage resistor used in these early power boxes is not needed with the new power supply. Discard the resistor and connect the red wire directly to the power supply terminal labeled Red High Voltage. The other end of the wire is connected to the contact for the cell.
