How the Accumulator Chamber® Works
Utilizing two electrostatically charged fabric panels separated by two unique Accumulator Chamber produces a very effective three-stage air filtration process for residential applications.
The prefilter fabrics electrostatic ability enhances filtration by attracting and holding airborne particulates onto the surface like a magnet. Air flow maintains the prefilter static electricity and once particulates build up, it forces them to break off and collect in the Accumulator Chamber. Within the chamber the turbulence and electrostatic force causes agglomeration into even larger particulates that are too large to pass through the second panel.
DustPluss activated carbon afterfilter attracts and holds the smaller particulates that may have escaped the prefilter, or particles that do not respond to an electrostatic charge.
