Replacement solenoid valve for the Aprilaire 4040 made by Covna Valve. Solenoid for humidifier model 220, 224, 400, 400M, 440, 448, 500, 500M, 550, 560, 600, 600M, 700, 700M, 760, 768. They have designed this valve as an exact replacement of the Aprilaire brand model 4040. Even the inner parts are interchangeable with the Aprilaire. The valve body has a filter on the inlet side. Same as the Aprilaire 4040 having the 4004 strainer. This filter is interchangeable with the 4004 but made different, as it is a sintered porous brass filter. Solenoid Valve is made of brass and white copper wire, anti-corrosion, which provides long lasting, sturdy and durable.
Specifications printed on solenoid body: 24 volts, 60 Hz, Orifice (3/32 - 3/64).
Both the inlet and outlet are threaded 7/16"-24 UNS for accepting a compression fitting for ¼" tubing. The inlet includes the compression fitting & ferrule. For the outlet, your existing compression fitting is reused.
