Description

The Aprilaire 4079 includes the ¼" tubing 16¼" length, compression fitting, plastic ferrule. blue orifice, and strainer.
This tubing connects to the solenoid and feeds water to the water distribution tray. Used in the Aprilaire 350 and 360. Also used in the Aprilaire 440.The Blue orifice is sized to deliver 6 gph. As shown in photo.

Aprilaire In-Line Strainer & Orifice

Aprilaire Flow-Thru humidifiers have a solenoid with a small strainer filter in the body. These strainers should be inspected and cleaned when replacing the water panel. If the strainer becomes clogged the water pressure will tear it and pieces will jam the solenoid or loose pieces will block the orifice.
