Permatron F825-0635 activated carbon pad coated polyester for ComfortPro Series. The carbon coating weights 6.0+/- ounces per sq yd. Measures 12½ x 16 x ½ inch.
The activated carbon absorbs odors and fumes and should be replaced 3-4 times a year.
The carbon filter complements the collector cell that is proven to remove and prevent odors and fumes from building up in recirculated air. The carbon is finely ground resulting in over a million square feet of surface area. The carbon is impregnated into the filter media and heat set. There are no loose granules, the filter can be rinsed or vacuumed.
Vapors are pulled by molecular action in to tiny pores and held. In manufacturing the carbon, the activation process creates millions of micropores. The pores are sized and formulated to remove common VOC's.
