Field Controls 46649700 replacement UVC Lamp for Trio-1000P, Trio-1000P2 and Sun-Pure SP-20c portable air purifiers. Same as Sun-Pure part 1RK003.

The UVC lamp is recommended to be replaced every 12 months depending on usage. The high intensity UVC germicidal lamp, 150 times the intensity of the sun, neutralizes 93.6% of airborne mold, bacteria and viruses. The UV with combination of PRO-Cell catalytic grid transforms 98.2% of odors, smoke and VOC's into fresh breathable air up.

Trio-1000P Air Purifier Performance Data

CLEAN
The pre-filter collects particles as small as 5.0 microns, while two layers of charcoal activated filters remove odors and smoke. The final stage of filtration is a High Efficiency filter that traps tiny microscopic particles as small as 0.3 microns such as dust, dander, and pollen.

PURE
Bacteria, viruses, mold, and fungi are neutralized or inactivated by a high output UVC germicidal lamp with 150 times the UV intensity of the sun. The patented PRO-Cell grid magnifies the power of the UV lamp by up to 200%.

FRESH
Fresh air exits the Trio Portable, after it passes through 722 square inches of Titanium infused PRO-Cell. The patented PRO-Cell Technology transforms odors, smoke, and volatile organic compounds(VOCs) into fresh healthy air.

How (PCO) Photocatalytic Oxidation Purifies the Air

Photocatalytic oxidation or PCO is a process of combining UV rays with Titanium dioxide. This process creates hydroxyl radicals and super-oxide ions, which reacts to contaminants in the air such as, mold, fungi, bacteria, virus and VOCs (volatile organic compounds). This chemical reaction of super-charged ion and hydroxyl radicals breaks pollutants cellular structure such as DNA/HNA chromosomes. The results are harmless water molecules, carbon dioxide and more purified air.

Corona Virus (covid-19) and Air Purifiers

The corona virus is an airborne virus that can live up to three hours in the air. The virus particles are small enough to pass through HEPA filters.
